Training & Development
We have a strong focus on development of our People and as such offer a wide range of training and development opportunities. This includes but is not limited to:
- Industry specific Nationally Accredited Training
- Industry specific course and tickets
- Short course
- Study assistance
We have in-house programs designed for both new and existing workers encompassing national qualifications, such as our flagship Conveyor System Technician Trainee program as well as our Mechanical Technician development program. On successful completion of the Conveyor System Technician program, a Certificate III in Polymer Processing is awarded.
In 2020 we launched of our national Mechanical Advanced Course and saw our Mechanical Technicians develop valuable hands on practical skills and experience in a range of areas. Upon successful completion of the course, national certification is awarded by our Enterprise Registered Training Organisation (FDRTO) with Certificate II in Process Manufacturing contextualised to Conveyor Maintenance.
Fenner Dunlop is leading the industry by:
- Supporting our employees with funding and establishing career pathways for both belt splicing and mechanical employees.
- Increasing Safety knowledge and understanding through practical application aided by training on a live conveyor system.
- Providing national certification to Fenner Dunlop employees
